As part of the Post-Thanksgiving Challenge – Reform, I decided I needed to do something DRASTIC to drop a few more pounds before the end of 2011.
Luckily, where I live in Florida, we hit a cool snap this week, and while rooting thru the garage, looking for Christmas decorations, I saw MY BIKE!
“Aha”, I said to myself, “This is what I need to jump up my metabolism”.
So here’s what I have been doing and have lost 4 pounds already (and I am
much older than YOU)!
Getting up Earlier: 7:30 AM
Eat a handful of almonds and drink a big glass of water
Take the 2 beagles for a 1 – 2 miles walk.
Feed the dogs – Drink a big glass of raw homemade juice.
Get out on the bike –
Rode 2 miles the first day
Rode 4.2 miles the second day
Rode 3.4 miles today
Now I’m home at 8:45 AM, eating a big bowl of:
Oatmeal with raw coconut, dried cranberries & walnuts with
1 TBSP of almond butter in it.
Lunch: FRUIT BOWL with another 8 almonds
Dinner – is EARLY – right at 5:30 –
Whole Wheat Rotini with Broccoli, Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Fresh Basil
It’s working for me and my whole body feels energized. Yoga before bed is optional!
Maybe YOU should take out the old bicycle……
